Connect WellCAD to a database and exchange data using Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) together with a WellCAD-specific syntax in your SQL scripts.

Database administrators or skilled users can write SQL scripts to control the data flow between WellCAD and an ODBC-compatible database. WellCAD exposes a collection of specific properties and methods which can be integrated into SQL scripts and adapted to the user’s own data model. This way, log columns and document headers can be filled with data pulled from a database. Similarly, data can be pushed back from a borehole document into the data store.
