Full Waveform Sonic

The Full Waveform Sonic (FWS) module provides a collection of processes for sonic waveform data acquired in open and cased holes.

  • Dedicated data container to store and visualize FWS data (Wiggle and VDL).
  • Velocity Analysis Workspace to derive P-, S- and other waveform velocities accurately and efficiently using semblance processing.
  • Filter options, bad trace interpolation, trace resampling, and stacking options, FFT.
  • First arrival picking, transit time, and velocity computation.
  • Computation of rock mechanical parameters.
  • Reflected Tube Wave analysis.
  • Cement bond quality (CBL, RBT) processing and calibration.
  • Dynamic Waveform Viewer.
  • Log editing, depth shift and splice/merge options.
  • Pre-processing and processing tools for FWS data are provided as part of the FWS add-on module.
